The annual 1M1B Activate Impact Summit

The annual 1M1B Activate Impact Summit at the United Nations Headquarters in New York is a celebration of corporations, policy makers and young changemakers acting on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the aim to inspire more. The focus of the event is to showcase best practices on how AI and green skills can power the future workforce meeting economic goals with environmental and sustainability stewardship.

Several senior leaders from organizations like Mastercard, eBay, DC Archangels, ABFRL and over 200 youth have showcased their work at the past 7 editions of the summit, organised with the support of the UN Department of Global Communications.

The Summit brings together UN staff, diplomats, ambassadors, senior leaders from large corporations, entrepreneurs, youth, and leaders from civil society, engaging them in important conversations on how to collaborate and accelerate the achievement of the SDGs through community action. The 2023 and 2024 events have been attended by over 400 participants.

The 1M1B Activate Impact Summit has been recognized as an example of how youth across the world can take the lead in accelerating the achievement of the SDGs and amplifying UN campaigns, messages, and key priorities.

9th Annual 1M1B Impact Summit – Geneva (2025)

Powering the Future with Green Skills, AI and Youth Climate Diplomacy – Ground-Up Action for 1.5°C Held at the United Nations Office at Geneva on November 7, 2025, the summit brought together:

  • 200+ global delegates
  • Leaders from governments, UN bodies, global institutions, and industry
This made it one of the most powerful global platforms showcasing how youth are actively shaping climate and development agendas today.

Youth at the Centre

  • 35 top youth changemakers from India, UAE, and the US presented scalable, AI-driven climate solutions
  • 7 schools, 45 students, and 10 teachers participated as Youth Climate Diplomats
  • Projects addressed critical areas including water conservation, sustainable agriculture, circular economy, and social inclusion

  • Launch of the Youth Climate Diplomacy Program under the global 1.5 Matters movement
